About
Versatile freelance plant operator and crew chief with 5+ years’ experience across construction, live events, infrastructure and television production. Progressed from building Heras fencing walls and site infrastructure for major festivals - including Glastonbury and Nass - to operating 20-tonne excavators, landscaping, constructing TV sets, and delivering power and gallery setups on location for BBC’s The Traitors. A fast learner who picks up new plant, tools and processes first time, with a proven ability to manage the wide range of personalities found on site and to both take and give instructions to a high standard. Thrives on hard work and tight deadlines in demanding, fast-changing environments - from muddy greenfield sites to live broadcast productions - with a strong focus on safety, reliability and sustainable working practices, backed by IOSH Managing Safely and IOSH Managing Sustainability certification. Currently completing an MA in Business Management at the University of Dundee (graduating 2027), bringing a commercial and organisational edge to site leadership.
