Sebastjan Zavrl is not just a lighting operator - he is an architect of atmosphere. With over a decade of hands-on experience across Europe"s most demanding stages, Sebastjan has built a reputation for transforming live music and broadcast television into visceral visual experiences. Operating under his production company MGLightning s.p. (Ljubljana), he specialises in heavy, high-energy aesthetics that serve the music first - merging precision-programmed grandMA3 workflows with an instinctive feel for drama, tension, and release. As the touring Lighting Designer for Moldovan metalcore act Infected Rain, Sebastjan has programmed and operated shows across major European venues - including a sold-out support slot alongside DragonForce and Amaranthe at London"s iconic Roundhouse (March 2024), a show that earned him individual press recognition. Infected Rain front-woman Lena Scissorhands publicly stated that having a dedicated lighting engineer is the best thing a touring band can have - Sebastjan is that person. Beyond touring, he serves as the resident lighting designer for Slovenian punk legends Zablujena Generacija (since 1994, one of the country"s most beloved rock acts) and progressive synthwave project Neuromancer - and has crossed into television and cinematic work with the ambitious Slovenian feature documentary Hildegard of Bingen (dir.
